1) Using publically accessible traceroute servers please speculate on how the following networks are connected to the internet. Create a quick sketch of each.

a) 64.4.21.91
b) 64.233.167.147
c) 128.138.238.18
d) 216.17.128.2

Hints:
• This is an open ended question...understand what you are looking at...but don't spent more than 10 minutes on each of the parts above.
• Traceroute to each address from several different traceroute servers...taking note of the networks your trace passes through based on DNS names.
• Your traceroutes may not reach the IP I have given you above. Thats okay...use as far you do get.
• Your mileage on the traceroute servers may vary...you will have to experiment with different servers.

2) Do you see any problems with trying to map how a network is connected to the internet with traceroute servers? Elaborate.

3) What might be a better way to understand how a network is connected to the internet?
